Eddie Jones includes six Leicester Tigers in a a 37-player squad for England’s opening Guinness Six Nations match against Scotland this weekend.
England travel to Edinburgh later next week for the Calcutta Cup match on Saturday (4.45pm kick-off).
The uncapped Ollie Chessum joins Tigers colleagues Ellis Genge, Joe Heyes, George Ford, Freddie Steward and Ben Youngs in the squad.
Harlequins centre Joe Marchant will be unavailable for the start of the week after testing positive for COVID. Both he and Joe Marler will rejoin with the squad when their isolation periods end.
Tommy Freeman is also unavailable for selection after injuring his hamstring in training on Friday.
Louis Lynagh and Adam Radwan have been called up, and Nick Isiekwe remains with the squad for the week.
