Leicester Tigers Rugby Camps now include tag rugby session for under-7s/8s, core full days, development afternoons to challenge teenagers and girls-only provision so there is something suitable for any young player.
There are camps for girls and boys scheduled at SMB College Brooksby Campus near Melton Mowbray (February 15-18) and at Denstone College in Staffordshire (February 21-24) during the school half-term and places are available to book now.
Both venues also have alternative outdoor pitches and indoor facilities to ensure coaching can continue even in the worst weather.
All camps focus on skills development in a fun and physically active setting with professional coaches from the Tigers community team.
The new-look Tigers Development Camp takes place over three afternoon sessions for players in the under-14, 15 and 16 age groups, with a tighter focus on tactical and technical skills alongside athletic development, all based on the themes of the club’s Developing Player Programme run by the Tigers junior academy and ACE programme.
The four-day Core Camps are for players in the under-9s to under-13s groups, following age-grade guidelines, with a programme based on fun activities, rugby skills and fundamental fitness.
Tag Rugby Camps aim to introduce and encourage young players, with three mornings of games and enjoyable activities to support the development of fundamental movement, rugby and social skills.
There is also a Girls-Only Camp at Denstone for players in the under-13, 15 and 18 age groups.
Tigers Rugby Camps are priced from £55 and places are available to book now. Book online, in person at the Tigers ticket office or phone the team on 0116 319 8888 (option 2).
