Leicester Tigers fans were able to celebrate a debut for Jake Kerr and victory for their England quintet with big-screen coverage of the Six Nations at Welford Road on Saturday.

Former Leicester, England and Lions scrum-half Harry Ellis was the special guest for the Tigers’ International Sports Bar in the Final Whistle on the opening weekend of this season’s Guinness Six Nations.

After Welford Road opened its doors at 2.00pm, the Sports Bar featured live broadcast of Scotland’s win over Italy – and a Test debut for Tigers hooker Kerr – followed by the thrilling showdown in Dublin as England recorded a big win over Ireland with Jonny May, Manu Tuilagi, Ben Youngs, George Ford and Ellis Genge all involved.

Ellis spoke pre-game about his Six Nations experience against Ireland and his preview of the challenge ahead of England, then offered analysis of the performance at half-time and immediately after the game, while supporters also had a chance to claim some Tigers prizes with their First Try Scorer predictions and a Six Nations quiz.

The next event at Welford Road is the Pub Quiz on Tuesday, February 19. For more information click here.
