Stade Heineken Cup clash now sold out

The Heineken Cup quarter-final between Leicester Tigers and Stade Francais is now sold out.

The last remaining tickets for the match, following returns from Stade Francais and competition organisers ERC, had been on general sale and were snapped up early this week.

Tigers are anticipating a fantastic occasion at Welford Road on April 1 for the biggest home occasion of the season against the current French Top 14 league leaders.

Stade will be making their fourth visit to Leicester, following a Heineken Cup defeat in the 1999/00 season, a 26-13 victory on their way to the 2004 quarter-finals and a last-gasp defeat in the pool stages last year after late tries by Tigers duo Louis Deacon and Dan Hipkiss.

For anyone without a ticket, the match is to be shown live on Sky TV and France 2 TV on Sunday, April 1 (3.30pm kick-off).
