Leicester Tigers staff at Welford Road raised £110 in a Macmillan Coffee Morning bake sale this week.
Taking part in the fundraising event billed as “the world’s biggest coffee morning”, Tigers staff tucked into a selection of cakes and treats, with club mascot Welford joining in the fun.
Macmillan help to support people affected by cancer across the UK and the coffee morning idea started in 1990. Last year’s event alone raised a total of £29.5million for the charity.
