With the rain finally subsiding, the Tigers community team are preparing for a sunny summer of rugby courses.

Starting next week, the team will be travelling all over the region to schools and rugby clubs who will be hosting our prestigious courses. Young players will work with our community and academy coaches, honing their core skills and having huge amounts of fun at the same time.

 Most of the courses last four or five days and are suitable for all players aged 8-16. However, some courses vary, with the Bassingbourn Army Barracks a prime example. This is a residential course for 14 -17 year old boys which covers all the usual rugby content but has added extras including low rope command tasks and an interactive laser rifle range. This year we are also running a girls' course alongside our mixed course at Sleaford RFC. We will be offering specific core skills training during a three-day intensive course designed specifically for girls aged between 14 and 17.
