The sun had its hat on this weekend as the Maul, the Leicester Tigers roadshow vehicle, took to the road for dates at the Kenilworth Show and the GE Family Fun Day.The sun shone on Stoneleigh Park in Warwickshire, where the roadshow team joined thousands of visitors to the 72nd annual Kenilworth Show.
Attractions included displays of vintage and modern farm machinery, carriage driving and rural crafts, plus, of course, the Maul.
Visitors to the Maul could test their skills on the Speed Pass Challenge, the Big Boot and Smash-o-meter. Young fans can sign up for free to the Junior Tigers Club and free e-membership is on offer for adult supporters.
And on Sunday, there was fine weather to greet the Maul at a fun day for employees and their families of GE, sponsors of the big screen at the Clubhouse End of the Welford Road stadium.
Held at Rugby Town Football Club, the event was in support of Help For Heroes, and included a visit from the charity’s mascot Hero the Bear as well as Tigers club mascot Welford.
