The Leicester Tigers Supporters' Forum met for the penultimate time this season at Welford Road.
The 2018/19 campaign has welcomed two open forum meetings for members of the public and supporters to attend and put their questions to key figures at the club.
The most recent forum saw more than 30 representatives meet to discuss a variety of topics.
The club’s season ticket renewals kicked off the meeting with supporters welcoming the later renewal date of March, as well as highlighting the benefits for season ticket holders including first-option prices on additional match tickets for friends and family.
Next season’s renewal pack also includes an exclusive 20-page Tigers Times newspaper as well as loyalty lanyards recognising the number of years as a Leicester Tigers season ticket holder.
The club has this year introduced a new ticket pricing structure for individual match tickets, with an onus on purchasing tickets at the earliest possible time to get the best prices. As always, purchasing a Leicester Tigers season ticket will remain the best valued ticket to watch every home game at Welford Road.
The panel shared updates on both retail and catering queries at Welford Road, as well as the club’s SwipeStation application, which aims to help fans to beat the queues and save time when making purchases.
A team update was then presented to the forum with the positive news that a number of players will be available for the Saints game (March 22, 7.45pm) following time on the sideline, alongside the returning Six Nations internationals.
Tigers representatives also shared a brief insight into what the CVC takeover means for Tigers as well as initial plans to support the club. The forum also put forward the idea for a new clubhouse area at the stadium on matchdays, which Tigers representatives will look into and meet with a small group of the forum to discuss further.
The Supporters’ Forum meets six times each season to discuss issues and events at Welford Road.
