England international James Simpson-Daniel will switch from the wing to the centre and Iain Balshaw is on the wing in Gloucester's line-up for the Guinness Premiership clash against Leicester at Kingsholm on Sunday (kick-off 1pm).
Simpson-Daniel, the try-scorer in last week's 7-5 victory over Northampton Saints, partners Anthony Allen in midfield as head coach Dean Ryan makes changes due to international call-ups and injuries.
Willie Walker wears the No.15 shirt and James Bailey comes in for the injured Karl Pryce. Ryan Lamb and Peter Richards are retained as the half-back pairing.
Carlos Nieto is on duty with Italy and Christian Califano is ruled out with a broken thumb, Jack Forster comes in at tighthead prop to play alongside hooker Olivier Azam and loosehead Nick Wood. Will James comes in at lock in the absence of Marco Bortolami.
"We have been disrupted this week with a number of issues regarding our prop situation but we have enough quality in this area of our squad to cope," Ryan told www.gloucesterrugby.co.uk. "The team is greatly changed from ast Saturday but it is still very exciting and to have the option of shifting a creative player of James Simpson-Daniel's quality into the centre is an added bonus.
"This is a game we are thoroughly looking forward to - Leicester are an outstanding team, leaders of the Premiership and a tremendously resourceful side that we respect fully. It should be a great Kingsholm occasion."
