Mathew Tait says there will be a single-mindedness about Leicester Tigers when they return for pre-season.
The bulk of the Tigers squad is due back in at Oval Park next week to begin the build-up to the 2018/19 campaign, with players who have been on international tours and at the World Rugby U20 Championship due to return later in the summer.
And said Tait that after the disappointment of missing out on a top-four finish last year, Tigers will be determined to put that right next season.
Tait said: “We wish the guys who are moving on well and we will welcome the new guys who are coming in. Expectations are going to be raised, perhaps, from where they have come from.
“The goal is clear for us all; we want to be back winning things. That will very much be the focus for us when we come back into training.”
Tigers season tickets for the 2018/19 campaign are available now. A season ticket guarantees entry to 11 home games in the Gallagher Premiership regular season and pool stages of both the Heineken Champions Cup and Premiership Rugby Cup, and the pre-season fixture with London Irish.
