Tigers are the defending champions in the competition and host Worcester Warriors in the penultimate round of fixtures in the northern conference.
Sale Jets have already secured to spot in the northern section of the competition as they are on 37 points, 11 clear of Tigers with two games to play. But Tigers are in the driving seat in the race for the second qualifying place as they are six points ahead of Newcastle Falcons and seven ahead of Northampton.
“The win is the priority this evening because if we don’t get the result in this game then we make it difficult for ourselves because we’d have to go to Sale and win in the last game to guarantee a place in the semi-finals,” coach Paul Burke said.
“We have a relatively strong side out, with a mixture of youth and experience.
“I hope we can get a good crowd in because that will help to drive the players on. It’s an opportunity for us to get into the semi-final of a competition we won last year.”
