Kyle Eastmond has been ruled out by illness of the Gallagher Premiership opener away to Worcester Warriors on Saturday (October 19) afternoon at Sixways Stadium.
The international's absence sees Tom Hardwick come in to Tigers starting side at inside-centre and Andy Forsyth added to the bench.
Forsyth's inclusion means the Tigers Academy graduate is in line to play his first Premiership fixture for the club in almost seven years after re-joining Leicester over the summer on loan from Championship club Coventry.
