Harry Thacker is the latest recipient of the Goldsmiths Player of the Month award.The Leicester Tigers forward won the supporters’ vote for the award ahead of teammates Graham Kitchener and Owen Williams.   Academy product Thacker enjoyed try-scoring appearances in the Aviva Premiership and LV= Cup, scoring against Sale in the Anglo-Welsh competition at Welford Road before grabbing a brace in the bonus-point league win against London Welsh at Kassam Stadium.   Thacker was announced as the winner during half-time of Sunday’s Aviva Premiership game against Bath Rugby and receives a gift voucher from award sponsor Goldsmiths. He follows Julian Salvi, Graham Kitchener, and Jamie Gibson as previous winners of the award this season.   The Tigers Player of the Month award is supported by Goldsmiths, the largest prestige and luxury jewellers in the UK, who are also official East Stand sponsors and official timekeepers.
