Thacker, who made his debut in Tigers’ 39-16 victory at Welford Road, was named the LV= man-of-the-match for his Round One performance.
The 19-year-old has now been put on the shortlist for the LV= Breakthrough Player Award along with London Wasps wing Jonah Holmes.
According to Opta, the official LV= Cup statisticians, Thacker made 21 carries during the game, gained 51 metres, hit all 11 of his lineout throws and did not miss a tackle in his 70 minutes of action.
Holmes, meanwhile, made four clean breaks and beat nine defenders, gaining 151 metres in the process, during Wasps’ game against Saracens.
The LV= Breakthrough Player Award was launched in 2011 and is designed to recognise the wealth of young talent on show in the competition.
Two players from each round will form a shortlist for the award along with two 'wildcard' players, who have strong overall competition statistics, compiled by Opta.
Fans will be asked to vote on www.lv.com/rugby from the end of Round 4 until 9am on Monday, March 10.
The winner will be announced before the LV=Cup Final and LV= will donate £1,000 to a grassroots rugby initiative of the winner's choice.
Previous winners of the award are Gloucester Rugby's Jonny May and Exeter Chief's Jack Nowell.
