There is just one week left to vote for the LV= Breakthrough Player Award, with Leicester Tigers hooker Harry Thacker in the running.

Thacker is one of 10 players nominated for the award for their performances in the pool stages of this season’s LV= Cup and fans can vote now at www.lv.com/rugby

The 19-year-old was shortlisted following an outstanding performance on his first start for Tigers in the victory over Ospreys in Round One of the Anglo-Welsh competition.

According to Opta, the official LV= Cup statisticians, Thacker made 21 carries, gained 51 metres, hit all 11 lineout throws and did not miss a tackle in 70 minutes of action.

Thacker, who made his Aviva Premiership debut in last month's win at Worcester, is shortlisted alongside Sam Jones and Jonah Holmes (both London Wasps), Matt Hankin and Ben Ransom (both Saracens), Zach Kibirige (Newcastle Falcons), Luke Cowan-Dickie (Exeter Chiefs), Dan Barker (Ospreys) and Owen Williams (Cardiff Blues).

Fans have until March 10 to cast their vote. The 2014 LV= Breakthrough Player Award winner will be announced prior to the LV=Cup Final at Sandy Park, Exeter on March 16 and LV= will donate £1,000 to a grassroots rugby initiative of the winner's choice.
