Harry Thacker's stunning score away to Northampton Saints was last night crowned the Try of the Season at the annual Aviva Premiership Awards dinner in central London last night.

A total of 616 tries were scored across the regular season with Thacker’s individual effort in the 34-20 victory at Franklin’s Gardens in Round 20 voted the Citizen Try of the Season.
Peter Betham’s try against Gloucester Rugby at Welford Road in Round 19 was on the six-try shortlist, but it was Thacker who collected the award at the Park Lane Hilton to add to his Tigers supporters’ and players’ Player of the Year gongs.
