A crowd of more than 23,000 enjoyed a successful day for Leicester Tigers and Help For Heroes at Welford Road on Saturday.
Tigers beat Northampton Saints 29-15 in the first Guinness Premiership derby of the season, then the Tigers Academy triumphed in a match against the British Army Development XV.
Help For Heroes volunteers were on site to sell wristbands and the Parachute Regiment band entertained the big crowd.
Leicester Tigers chairman Peter Tom CBE said: "We were delighted that we were able to host two big games in one day and very proud to provide our support for Help For Heroes.
"There have always been very strong links between rugby and the Armed Forces so this was a good opportunity for the Tigers and the local rugby community to get behind such a worthy cause.
"We were very pleased that the Army Rugby Union were able to send a team to play against the Tigers Academy and having the Parachute Regiment band here also added to the occasion.
"I would like to thank all of the supporters from Leicester and Northampton for their generous support for Help For Heroes on the day."
