Tigers fans are estimated to have made up half of the 5,000 crowd at Treviso's Stadio Communale di Monigo.
Head coach Meyer said he was overwhelmed by the support while captain Corry said he was blown away by the number of fans who travelled to Italy and the volume they generated.
Meyer said: I can't thank them enough. It's really been an overwhelming experience for me. It was almost like being at Welford Road.
There were probably more Tigers supporters than Treviso supporters. It was unbelievable.
When things went bad they picked up the mood of the guys. I want to thank them because it was unbelievable to play in front of a crowd like that. It is an honour.
His captain Corry added: When we went out for the warm-up and we saw the crowd then it was very impressive. When we actually came out for the game and saw the travelling support pretty much taking over one stand it was immense.
I have been with the club 12 years and you would have thought I would have got used to the crowd but seeing that just blew me away.
The sheer numbers that came and the noise they generated were just phenomenal.
Every one of the players was incredibly appreciative of the effort which they made and the passion they brought with them.
Even the Treviso guys couldn't believe the crowd we brought with us. If you were a neutral and you were to say 'who was the home team?', you would have said the team with those fans there. It was certainly a lot more vocal than the locals.
Meyer was given a standing ovation by the travelling Tigers fans as he made his way across the pitch without his crutches to take up his place in the main stand.
And the Tigers head coach admitted he was humbled by the reaction.
Meyer said: It was a humbling experience. I was so shocked because I looked backwards and thought the team was running out. I couldn't understand who they were rooting for then I realised they were actually rooting for me because I don't have crutches any more.
It was a humbling experience to see the guys giving such a great support. I am very proud to have supporters like these.
