The Maul ready for the Rutland Show

Figure image
The Maul, the Leicester Tigers roadshow vehicle, will join exhibitors and visitors at the 182nd Rutland County Show this weekend.

The Maul will take its place at the Rutland Showground in Oakham this Sunday (8.30am-5.30pm).

The Maul has undergone a redesign for summer 2014 and sport a striking new tiger stripe look, as well as some new games and features.

The new tackle bag and smash-o-meter will be in operation for people to test their tackling power and technique.

The Speedpass Challenge is back and supporters will be able to capture their Tigers moment in our special photobooth.

And Tigers are set to take to the demonstration ring with the Big Boot, which has been a hugely popular addition to matchday entertainments at Welford Road.

Club mascot Welford will be there too and supporters are encouraged to take and share their #welfie – a selfie taken with Welford – on Twitter, Facebook and Instagram. Junior Tigers Club members and E-members could win a Tigers home jersey with their #welfie.

There will be the chance to sign up for free to the Junior Tigers Club and the Tigers e-membership for the chance to receive Tigers goodies, exclusive information and competitions, newsletters and the chance to be a matchday mascot or Tiger cub. New e-members will receive a Tigers flag and new JTC members will pick up a #Tigersfamily wristband.

Keep an eye out for our competitions to win Tigers goodies and tickets to matches at Welford Road.
