The Maul visits country shows

The Leicester Tigers roadshow vehicle known as The Maul has hit the road again with appearances at its first two country shows of the summer in Staffordshire and Rutland.

Attracting thousands of visitors from across the region, the shows are a popular part of the summer and Tigers were delighted to meet fans who took part in the Speed Pass Challenge, tackled the Tigers Tackle Bag and had photos taken with the Anglo-Welsh Cup.

The Maul also provided an opportunity for children to sign up for free membership to the Junior Tigers Club, which features a VIP area on matchdays at Welford Road with activities, games, player appearances and a visit from Tigers mascot Welford.

The country shows are an annual event celebrating the region’s agriculture, farming and communities.

The Maul will be at a number of shows including Lincolnshire, Norfolk and Market Harborough as well as Leicester’s own county show at the end of August.
