Greene King IPA Championship side Ealing Trailfinders have confirmed the signing of Guy Thompson from next season.

The 33-year-old, who joined Tigers in the summer of 2018, has made 33 appearances across the back-row in his two seasons at the club. 

Speaking about his time at the club, Thompson said: "Thank you to all the players, staff and fans that made my two years at Leicester Tigers memorable."

"It will be forever grateful for the opportunity to wear the famous number seven shirt of Tigers.

"I wish everyone at the club all the best moving forward into the future."

The back-rower's contract with Tigers concludes on June 30.

Thompson was confirmed as departing Tigers in early May when Geordan Murphy announced the list of departing players.
