Leicester Tigers will begin their defence of the Guinness Premiership title with a trip to face Bristol Rugby on the weekend of September 15/16.
The full Guinness Premiership fixture list for the 2007/08 season has been announced, though final kick-off times are yet to be confirmed by Premier Rugby, the clubs and their broadcasting partners.
After opening at Bristol, Tigers host Bath in the first home game of the campaign on the weekend of September 22/23 and then face London Wasps away.
The defence of the EDF Energy Cup starts during the last weekend in October and the Heineken Cup quest begins on the weekend of November 10. Details of both cup competitions are due to be announced next week.
The Christmas holiday period features a Guinness Premiership trip to Sale Sharks on the weekend of December 22/23, then London Irish at home the following weekend and Harlequins away as the first game of 2008.
The regular season ends with a home match against Harlequins on May 10.
Clubs will now set the days and kick-off times for their matches and this process should be completed to achieve a consolidated fixture list by early July. Until then, this fixture list should be treated as provisional. Matches selected for live coverage on Sky Sports will be announced in the next few weeks.
