Tigers Academy travel to Cornwall

Figure image
Tigers Academy travelled all the way to Cornwall earlier today, ahead of this evening's match with the Cornish Pirates. Andy Key, Neil Back and Graham Rowntree will be hoping their side return to Leicester with another promising performance under their belts and their unbeaten record still in tact.

Tigers will be captained by right wing Mitchell Culpin, who impressed on this summer's senior tour to France. Culpin is joined in an attacking looking back-line by the impressive Rickie Aley and Jack Cobden. England National Academy fly half Ben Youngs starts at no.10, with Sam Harrison coming in at scrum half.

Up front, Andy Brown gets his second Tigers start at prop, along with Adam Parkins who has recovered from injury to take his place on the opposite side of the scrum. Tom Collett gets the nod at hooker, with Greg Sammons moving to the bench. Mauricio Keiserie moves to the blindside flank from the second row, with Ben Avent and Adam Varley selected at number seven and eight respectively.
