Leicester Tigers are proud to announce the match against Harlequins on Sunday a sell-out at Mattioli Woods Welford Road.

Although the stadium is operating at a reduced capacity in some areas, more than 24,000 tickets have now been allocated, making this the club’s first sell-out since 2018.

Tigers chief executive Andrea Pinchen said: “We were overwhelmed with the support we received during the Covid lockdown period and this has only increased as we have been able to welcome back crowds and supporters have been very keen to get behind Steve and the team.

“When you see the challenges all of the clubs face out there in current circumstances, we are really proud to have such a loyal and strong supporter base at Tigers.”

Dom McGeever, Tigers ticket office manager, added: “There are still a few single seats dotted around the stadium and the odd place is coming available from season ticket buybacks but it has been a great effort from our supporters to get to this game.”

The last few hospitality places in Champions Club remain on sale today. Phone the sales team on 0116 2171 215 to make a booking.

The Tigers fixture against Newcastle Falcons on Sunday, January 2 is also selling well and supporters are encouraged to book as early as possible for the best available places.

Book online, in person or phone the ticket office on 0116 319 8888 (option 2).

The Newcastle Falcons fixture is also included in Half Season Tickets alongside derby games against Northampton Saints and Wasps, the Heineken Champions Cup tie with Bordeaux-Bègles and five other fixtures in league and cup.
