A great Sunday in the JTC VIP area and Welford Road!
Anthony Allen and Christian Loamanu came down to join the JTC crowd and entertained everyone with their wit during our very funny Q&A session! We learnt that they have both played rugby since an early age and hope to win many more trophies with the Tigers team! Christian Loamanu admitted he might have the smelliest socks in the team, and Anthony Allen said he is a big fan of Harry Styles from One Direction! Anthony and Christian helped us do our Tiger Cub and Challenge Welford draws on the day. Scarlet Lewis, Adam Paintes, Harmony Bath and Alex Leach were our lucky Tiger Cubs for the day, and Olivia Westmoreland took “Challenge Welford”.
The first half of the match was filled with plenty of excitement but ended with Tigers trailing just behind. There was a Tigers win at half-time for Olivia, when she challenged Welford to the speed pass challenge, beating Welford with more passes through the target in thirty seconds! The winning didn’t stop here though! Tigers took charge of the game, making us undefeated in the LV= Cup with a 29-13 win over Sale Sharks!
The next home game is Leicester Tigers v Saracens, November 16, 1pm kick-off. The JTC VIP Area will be open from 11pm, so make sure you come and visit.
