Leicester Tigers reached the semi-finals of the Anglo-Welsh Cup with Saturday's 27-20 victory over Northampton Saints.

The victory at a sold-out Welford Road was was Tigers’ third win from three games so far in the cup competition and guaranteed top spot in Pool 4.

It took Tigers to 13 points with one round of fixtures remaining. Tigers travel to Allianz Park to play Saracens next Sunday.

Gloucester Rugby are in second place in the Pool 4 with eight points from three games, but with only one win.

A bonus-point victory in their final pool game, at home to Newport Gwent Dragons, would also take the Cherry and Whites to 13 points. However, Tigers would qualify for the semi-finals regardless of the outcome against Saracens by virtue of having won more games than Gloucester.

Harlequins are the second team to qualify for the semi-finals. They have 13 points from three wins in Pool 3 and cannot be caught by second-placed Wasps.

Saracens and Northampton are vying for top spot in Pool 1 while all four teams could still qualify from Pool 2. Click here for the Anglo-Welsh Cup pool tables.
