Tigers duo named in Wales Under-20s squad

Leicester Tigers duo Tommy Reffell and Sam Costelow have been named in a 28-man Wales squad for the World Under-20s Championships in Argentina this summer.

Back-rower Reffell captained Wales in last year’s Championship while fly-half Costelow was promoted from the Under-18s this season and made his debut during the Under-20s Six Nations.

Head coach Gareth Williams has named Ospreys hooker Dewi Lake as captain after he impressed during the Six Nations after taking over when Reffell suffered a hamstring injury in the first game of the campaign against France.

"It has proved a tough process coming to the final selection but we are really excited with the squad we are taking," Williams said.

"It’s fantastic to be back in training with the players and building towards a physical group with Argentina, France and Fiji."

Tigers prop Joe Heyes has been named in the England squad for the Championship.
