Winger Robinson says the Exeter pack will provide a physical challenge and will look after the ball when they take on Tigers in the first-ever league clash between the two clubs.
Robinson was part of the Bristol Rugby team who were pipped to promotion by Exeter in the two-legged Championship play-offs last season.
It gave Exeter promotion to the top-flight for the first time and they continued the momentum with a 22-10 victory over Gloucester Rugby on the opening day of the season.
“Exeter are an organised team and they will be robust and resilient,” Robinson said. “When we played them in the Championship final they were quite physical in their forward play.
“They have a good kicking option in Gareth Steenson and they will look after the ball.
“We have to look after the ball ourselves and have a bit of composure.”
