Leicester Tigers fans can now purchase the 2018/19 home and alternate shirts from the club store at Welford Road.
Manufactured by technical partner Kukri, the kits are available in men’s, women’s and youth sizes. Fans can also get their new kit personalised with the addition of a name and number in-store.
Supporters will be able to wear their replica shirts for the visit of London Irish in Tigers final pre-season fixture at Welford Road, which kicks off at 7.45pm.
We caught up with the first fan through the door this morning, Matthew Lane, who has been a Tigers season ticket holder for 13 years and stands on The Breedon Stand terrace by the home dug-out.
“I love the new kit. The bold hoops really stand out and it’s been great to see a lot of positive feedback across social media”
“My wife loves it too – which is always good when we agree!
“We welcomed our baby daughter for her first trip to Welford Road last season and she’s already got four strips – so we’ll no doubt get her kitted up for the new season."
Matthew also watched Tigers first pre-season fixture of the summer when a young Tigers side beat Cardiff Blues in Wales.
“It was a great day out – apart from the weather. Fantastic to see so many young players out and Jordan Olawafela was a standout performer for me”, he added.
“I always enjoy our European away days so I’m looking forward to seeing how the season progresses. Nothing beats Welford Road on matchday – the atmosphere, catching up with friends and seeing the stewards – not forgetting the rugby. It’s just a great day from start to finish."
Tigers club store will be open all day today until one hour after the final whistle. Usual opening hours resume over the bank holiday weekend on Saturday, 9.00am – 5.00pm and Sunday, 10.30am – 4.00pm.
The store will also be open on bank holiday Monday from 10.30am – 4.00pm.
Fans who have pre-ordered their Tigers home and alternate shirt, can expect their delivery ahead of Tigers first home fixture of the Gallagher Premiership against Newcastle Falcons (Sept 8).
Match tickets for Tigers fixture against London Irish (7.45pm) can be purchased in person at Welford Road – the tickets station is located inside the Club Store on non-matchdays – or by phoning the ticket office on 0116 319 8888 (option 2) or online using the link below.
