Leicester Tigers Wheelchair Rugby internationals Nick Cummins and Jamie Stead have helped Great Britain secure a semi-final spot at the World Wheelchair Rugby Challenge 2019 in Tokyo.
Team GB faced France in the first of their Pool A fixtures claiming a 51-44 win, before a dominant 57-35 victory over Brazil.
The final game of the group stages saw Great Britain face Japan and narrowly lose their first game of the tournament 57-51 to finish second in Pool A overall and qualify for the semi-finals.
The two semi-finals will take place at 4.15pm and 7.15pm (both local time) on Saturday, October 19. The bronze and gold medal game will see out the tournament on Sunday, October 20.
Tigers head coach Darren Matthews and assistant coach Rob Tarr are also part of head coach Paul Shaw’s backroom staff out in Tokyo.
