Leicester Tigers will begin their 2018/19 pre-season fixture programme with a trip to face Cardiff Blues on Saturday, August 11.
Kick-off at Cardiff Arms Park is at 2.30pm and match tickets will be available from the host club from 9.00am on Monday (June 4) by phoning 02920 302030 or online at www.cardiffblues.com
The two clubs met in the Anglo-Welsh Cup in 2017/18, with Tigers earning a 24-12 victory at Welford Road with Will Evans, Luke Hamilton and Jordan Olowofela scoring the tries.
The August meeting represents a first outing for the Blues under new head coach John Mulvihill, who arrives at the Arms Park later this month.
Mulvihill said: “The Leicester game at Cardiff Arms Park should be a celebration of the old and introduction to the new. It will be a great occasion for our supporters to feel the energy of the new season and the challenges ahead.”
Tigers have already announced a home game in the pre-season period against London Irish at Welford Road on Friday, August 24 (7.45pm).
