Wet weather failed to dampen the spirits at the 183rd Rutland Show on Sunday. The Maul, the Leicester Tigers roadshow vehicle, joined hundreds of visitors to the show, which was held at the Rutland Showground on Sunday.
There was heavy rain during the early part of the day but it was not enough to stop 10-year-old George Bland of Knossington in Rutland from completing five passes on the Speed Pass Challenge in 5.9 seconds, one of the fastest-ever times for the challenge.
Visitors were able to take on the Big Boot, the popular half-time entertainment on Welford Road matchdays, which was given a slot in the main ring and sign up to free Tigers membership and goody bags.
The Maul is back on the road this Saturday when it visits the Kenilworth Show at Stoneleigh Park in Warwickshire. Click here for details on the Kenilworth Show.
Visit the roadshow team and put your skills to the test on the Speed Pass Challenge, the Big Boot and Smash-o-meter. Young fans can sign up for free to the Junior Tigers Club and free e-membership is on offer for adult supporters.
