Leicester Tigers will open the new Aviva Premiership season with a home game against Newcastle Falcons at Welford Road on Saturday, September 6.
The club will again host Tigers In The Park to celebrate the opening day of the season, with events and attractions for all the family ahead of the 3pm kick-off against the Falcons.
Tigers’ opening home games, against Newcastle Falcons and then London Irish on September 27, are not scheduled for television coverage and the only place to see all of the action is at Welford Road. Both games are confirmed as 3pm kick-offs.
The team will also be at home on the last day of the regular league season, in a derby clash with Northampton Saints in Round 22 of the Aviva Premiership campaign.
With successive away fixtures at Christmas, against Northampton and Sale Sharks, Tigers’ host Bath Rugby in the opening game of 2015 on Saturday, January 3.
The Aviva Premiership fixtures were revealed at BT Tower today, including the live television picks for the opening six rounds. All kick-off times after the first six rounds are subject to alteration and any updates will be posted on the Tigers website as soon as they are confirmed.
The home match against Harlequins is a television pick on Friday, October 10 (7.45pm).
