Tigers play it for laughs

Leicester Tigers players have been getting in on the act ahead of the Try Comedy night at Welford Road next month.

Neil Briggs, Scott Hamilton and Riccardo Brugnara were among the Tigers players to share their jokes on in exclusive video taken at the club’s Oval Park training ground earlier this week. Click here to enjoy the video on the Tigers YouTube channel.

Sam Harrison, Sebastian de Chaves, Michele Rizzo and Tom Bristow also play it for laughs as we count down to an evening of comedy on Tuesday, November 18.

The popular Try Comedy night kicks off this season’s programme of supporters’ events at Welford Road.

Held in conjunction with Dave's Leicester Comedy Festival, the home of Leicester Tigers will host an evening of top-class comedy, which will be hosted by Lloyd Griffith.

Marcel Lucont, the self-proclaimed greatest French comedian in the UK, Leicester Mercury Comedian of the Year Kate Lucas and Johnny Pelham, a finalist in last year's BBC Radio New Comedy Awards, are all on the bill.

Held in the Try Line Club in the Goldsmiths Stand, tickets are priced £10 and the price includes a free pint of Everards Tiger bitter, the official beer of the Leicester Tigers. Food will be available to order. Doors open at 6.30pm and the show starts at 8pm.

Tickets are available now from the Welford Road ticket office, on 0116 319 8888 (option 2) or online by clicking here.
