Last week, Leicester Tigers fans had the chance to win shares in our Tigers Racing Syndicate by simply coming up with the best name for our new horse.
Organised in partnership with Tigers scrum Ben Youngs and his player sponsor Robert Cowell Racing, the winner was hand-picked by the England international himself.
Congratulations to Flo Jones from Coalville who won with the name ‘Leg It Lenny’ – a play on Youngs’ nickname ‘Lenny’.
Flo, 29, is a Tigers season ticket holder and sits in the Mattioli Woods Stand.
As well as naming the horse, Flo has won a single share in the horse valued at £600 and will join Robert Cowell Racing and Leicester Tigers at Leg It Lenny’s first race on June 10 at Leicester Racecourse.
Other honourable mentions for potential names included Tiger Feet, HayBeeSeeClub, Dusty Mare’s Boot, Hoof Into Touch and Rory the Racehorse.
There is still time to join the syndicate from £600 per share. The closing date for shares being sold will be June 7.
