Tigers Rugby Camps ready to beat the weather

Figure image
Leicester Tigers Rugby Camps are ready for whatever the weather throws at us next week.

The opening domestic Tigers Rugby Camps of the year are being hosted at Ashby RFC and Oakham RFC next week and we have secured access to indoor and outdoor facilities.

The tag rugby group at Ashby will be based at Ashby Grammar School for their three half-day sessions and those facilities will also be used as a back-up venue for the older age groups who are training at the rugby club.

All players booked on the Oakham camp should go to the rugby club on Monday morning, and there are plans to use indoor facilities if the weather deteriorates further.

Each camp will receive a visit from two Leicester Tigers players, with Jamie Gibson and Owen Williams scheduled for visit Ashby, and David Mele joining Neil Briggs on a visit to Oakham.

There are still places available at both venues next week for any young players looking to improve and develop their rugby skills.

Tigers Rugby Camps, in conjunction with energy efficiency specialists Mark Group, run all week (February 17-21) for players aged between under-9s and under-14s, while the tag sessions for under-7s and under-8s are on half-days February 17-19.

For any more information, or to book a place, go online or phone the Tigers ticket office on 0844 856 1880 (option 2).
