Leicester Tigers shared a thank you message recognising the efforts of the National Health Service and key workers across the country in what has been the most challenging of years following the outbreak of the Covid-19 pandemic.
The affects of the virus have been felt across all the #TigersFamily from playing behind closed doors, a loss of matchday income, postponed and cancelled fixtures as well as affecting family's around the world.
In the build-up to Christmas, the club would usually visit the staff and patients across Leicester's hospitals as players and representatives meet supporters, hand out goodies and look to help spread some festive joy across each ward.
Understandably, such events were unable to materialise this year, however all at the club have would like to take this opportunity to thank those front-line workers and key workers for their continued work as we continue to fight the virus.
Leicester Tigers fullback Freddie Steward shared a video message across the club's social channels on behalf of everyone at Leicester Tigers.
👏👏👏
