Tigers treat youngsters to Prem Final Day out

Figure image

Pupils and groups will enjoy a day out at Twickenham this weekend thanks to their efforts in a number of Leicester Tigers community programmes.

Tigers rugby development officers will treat a group from Blaby Stokes Primary School, students from Tigers Hitz education programme and the U11 and U12 winners from this year’s Land Rover Cup.

The group from Blaby Stokes Primary School took part in this season's Aviva Tackling Numbers programme and will get the chance to walk out onto the Twickenham turf on matchday.

The group will take part in a tag rugby match at half-time against groups from each Premiership Rugby club.

A group from Tigers own HITZ programme – which helps support 16-24 year olds not in education, employment or training – will also get to enjoy the Premiership Final day out.

In this year’s Land Rover Cup U11 winners Bury St Edmunds RFC and U12 champions Kesteven RFC will also be treated to a day out with representatives from Leicester Tigers community team.
