Leicester Tigers have launched a new range of ticket options for the 2009/10 season.

A Try Before You Buy scheme has been introduced for the first home game against Newcastle Falcons on Saturday, September 19.

Tickets for the game, which will see the unveiling of the 10,600-seat Caterpillar Stand, are priced £15 adults, £10 young adults and full-time students and £5 juniors. Supporters will be able to redeem the ticket value against a Tigers season ticket or entry into any other Welford Road game before Christmas. Also for the Newcastle game, under-10s can come free with a paying adult.

The offer runs until the end of the Tigers’ Open Day at 4pm on Sunday, September 13.

David Clayton, Leicester Tigers managing director, said: “In addition to the special offer for the Newcastle Falcons game we have also introduced a new Pick 'n' Mix ticket option.

“Supporters can pick to come to three games and get entry to a fourth game of their choice free.”

To take advantage of the Pick 'n' Mix promotion, pick a game from each of the three groups of matches listed below and get a ticket to any game at Welford Road free.

Clayton said: “Supporters could, for example, watch the Heineken Cup campaign kick-off against Ospreys from Group One, see traditional rivals Gloucester Rugby from Group Two and be at Welford Road for the return of Neil Back with Leeds Carnegie from Group Three – and then get a free ticket to another home game of their choice.”

Group 1
Bath Rugby (Guinness Premiership)
Harlequins
Northampton Saints
Ospreys (Heineken Cup)
London Irish
London Wasps

Group 2
ASM Clermont Auvergne (Heineken Cup)
Bath Rugby (Anglo Welsh)
Gloucester Rugby
Sale Sharks
Saracens

Group 3
Leeds Carnegie
Newcastle Falcons
Newport Gwent Dragons
Viadana (Heineken Cup)
Worcester Warriors

The promotions are subject to availability and are not in conjunction with any other offer.

Match tickets go on sale to season ticket holders and members on Monday, August 3. Tickets will be released for general sale on Monday, August 10.

The Tigers ticket office will be open from 8.30am to 6pm over the next two weeks to cope with the expected demand.

Tigers begin their home campaign with some exciting games, none more so than the visit of Newcastle Falcons when the Guinness Premiership champions will celebrate the opening of the new Caterpillar Stand – and you won’t want to miss being part of a special Welford Road occasion.
