Tigers v Saints is as big as it gets, says Crane

Jordan Crane says an Aviva Premiership semi-final between Leicester Tigers and near neighbours Northampton Saints is as big as it gets.

More than 2,000 travelling Tigers fans will make the short trip to Franklin’s Gardens for tonight’s (Friday) clash (kick-off 7.45pm) and Crane says the game could be settled by tine margins.

“We are really excited to go to Saints – it doesn’t get any bigger,” says Crane, who starts the game at No8.

“Saints are a good side. They haven’t lost many games and they have gone really well.

“We know what they’ve got. They know what we’ve got. It’s just who is going to turn up on Friday night.

“Both teams are packed full of quality, hopefully we have a little bit more on the night than them.”

Tickets for Friday are now only available from Franklin's Gardens.

Live coverage of the match will be shown in the Final Whistle at Welford Road. Admission is £2 which is redeemable against food or refreshments. Book at the Tigers ticket office.

The match is scheduled for live coverage by BT Sport.
