Established for more than 75 years, Jacobs are the largest independent photographic retailer in the UK, with 20 stores across the country from Edinburgh to London. Jacobs sell a huge range of digital SLRs, digital cameras, binoculars and accessories through their network of stores, including two stores in Leicester and surrounding Nottingham, Derby and Birmingham. They sell online through their website www.jacobsdigital.co.uk, where you can use their click and collect service to reserve the item online and collect it in store.
Jacobs have been longstanding supporters of Leicester Tigers.
As well as branding the pitch perimeter at Welford Road and bibs assigned to matchday photographers, a feature of the new link will be the online Tigers Digital Diary, which photographically records activity at the club including player appearances, behind-the-scenes work and travelogue from away fixtures.
Leicester Tigers managing director David Clayton said: “As a Club, we enjoy relationships with many strong brands in diverse markets. Jacobs Digital is a company with a long heritage and, with its headquarters located in Leicester, we look forward to developing the partnership in the future.”
Elliott B Jacobs, general manager of Jacobs Digital, said: “The Jacobs family have always been keen supporters of the Tigers. The announcement as the Tigers Official Photographic Partner is a very important tie between two organisations at the top of their game. Jacobs wish Tigers every success this season and hope supporters find the time to look at the Tigers Diary online.”
