George Robinson will be a special guest at Welford Road on Sunday as part of #TeamGeorge Day at the home of the Leicester Tigers.
#TeamGeorge is an official club cause in support of teenager George who suffered a life-changing injury while playing rugby that has left him paralysed from the shoulders down.
George’s attitude to ‘conquer not crumble’ has impressed everyone he has met since his accident. He is a beneficiary and ambassador of the Matt Hampson Foundation and has already returned to school in Stamford.
Tigers are proud to support George and his family – his brother Eddie and parents Gill and Simon also joined the club for a special presentation to the crowd when #TeamGeorge was chosen as an official club cause earlier in the season.
They will join the Tigers again on Sunday for the European Champions Cup fixture against Racing 92, together with a group from Stamford School, as they continue to raise awareness of their appeal.
