Tinie Tempah closes day one of LMF

Tinie Tempah produced an electric performance to bring the first day of the Leicester Music Festival at Welford Road to a close.

The Brit Award winner wowed thousands of music fans with a stunning set at the home of Leicester Tigers that included his UK number one single Pass Out.
The sun shone on Welford Road all day as people partied into the evening.
The crowd joined support act Professor Green in belting out his hit Just Be Good To Green and UK No1 single Read All About It.
Katy B and street dance troupe Diversity were huge hits in the evening while Grammy Award winner Billy Ocean got things going in the day along with Heatwave and Aswad.
Labrinth headlines Saturday night’s bill. The Saturdays, Diversity and Kool and the Gang provide the support as well as Union J, Sam Bailey and UB40. The Real Thing, Hannah Boleyn, Stereo Nation and Formal Warning are also performing.
Tickets for Saturday are available on the gates at Welford Road. Contact the ticket office on 0844 856 1880 (option 2), visit in person or book online. Tickets are priced £25 standing and £30 seating. The ticket office is open from 8.30am.
