Tigers fans visiting Sixways for last weekend’s 34-5 victory over Worcester Warriors helped to raise £1,727 for Heart Research UK.

Fans parking nearby the stadium gave generously to support the fund-raising initiative organised by Southco Manufacturing.

Sue, Jules, Tom and Rus from the company were manning the car park and Sue added: “We manned our car park yesterday for the Tigers versus Warriors game and the majority of those that parked were Tigers fans.

“We charged £5 for parking but many of your guys gave us more and the money we collected was cash matched by our employer.

“Tigers have a really lovely bunch of supporters and helped us to raise an amazing £1,727.00 for the charity Heart Research UK. We just wanted to say a huge thank you to them.”
