Tigers beat Treviso 60-16 when the two sides met earlier in Pool Three at the Stadio Communale di Monigo with Flood scoring two tries, his first in Heineken Cup rugby.
However, he is warning that Italian Super 10 side Treviso will pose a tough test, pointing to former Wasps centre Fraser Waters and half-back pairing of Alberto Lucchese and Andrea Marcato as potential dangermen.
Tigers and England fly-half Flood said: “Treviso are a strong side and caused us problems down there.
“They are strong and have the likes of Fraser Waters, and their half-backs play really well together.
“It will be a tough test. It is one of those games that will always be difficult because it is the Heineken Cup and what goes with that with the history of this club.
“We won’t allow ourselves to put in a below-par performance.”
