Update to the Tigers Official History Book

A new update to the Tigers History Book, including all the stats up to the end of the 2016/17 season, is now available.

Supporters who attended the opening game of the season last Sunday were able to pick up a copy of the update with their matchday programme and the 20-page update will be available again, as well as the History Book, at the home game against Gloucester on September 16.

The Update features all the stats and stories from the last three seasons since publication of the original book by club historian Stuart Farmer and journalist David Hands.

This will be available with copies of the History Book for a special price of just £10.

The History Book chronicles the story of the club in more than 500 pages, from its beginnings at the merger of three local clubs in 1880, with season-by-season narrative, full statistics and an encyclopaedia section containing records and achievements of the club’s players and team over more than 130 years.

The special updated booklet has been produced as part of the club’s ‘125 years of rugby’ celebrations at Welford Road and will also be available at the Tigers ticket office and from a stall on the plaza outside the main reception of the Holland & Barrett Stand at the Gloucester game in return for a donation.
