The 27-year-old is joined in the tour party by Tigers forwards Julian White, George Chuter, Tom Croft, Louis Deacon, Ben Kay, Lewis Moody and Jordan Crane, plus centre Dan Hipkiss, who have more than 200 senior international caps between them.
White will be hoping to earn his 50th England cap this summer, while Deacon, Kay, Moody, Crane and Hipkiss all celebrate their return to the international fold.
Vesty has been capped at England Saxons level but this is his first call into the senior set-up.
“It is a dream come true to get an England call,” said Vesty who picked up the Tigers Players’ Player of the Season award.
“I am just thankful to Richard Cockerill for giving me a chance in the Leicester team during the Six Nations period earlier this season. I’ve tried my hardest to play well each week and the England management must feel that I have done that.”
England side face the Barbarians – who include Tigers duo Martin Corry and Geordan Murphy in their squad – at Twickenham on May 30 before Tests against Argentina at Old Trafford on June 6 and then in South America on June 13.
England team manager Martin Johnson said "This is a very strong squad full of a mixture of experience and young talent. I'm sure that any of the uncapped players will take the step up from the Saxons to the senior test arena if they are given the opportunity.”
The 26-man England Saxons squad includes Tigers trio Dan Cole, Ben Woods and Tom Varndell in preparation for the Churchill Cup defence in Denver, Colorado.
