Scrum-half Harrison steered the team to four victories from four Aviva Premiership games during the RBS 6 Nations period against Gloucester Rugby, London Irish, Sale Sharks and Newcastle Falcons. His performance in difficult conditions at the Madejski Stadium included 16 tackles in a stirring defensive effort, the third highest number of tackles in Round15.
A third Goldsmiths Player of the Month nomination this season for de Chaves, who played his part in the four league wins during the Six Nations period, and the LV= Cup pool wins.
The second-rower hit 32 rucks in the victory at Newcastle and it was his work at the front of the lineout that laid the platform for Tommy Bell’s winning try.
Thompstone has played his part in defence and attack during Tigers’ recent winning run. He made 10 carries against Sale Sharks, beating four defenders, and was called on to make his fair share of tackles in the win. He was in the thick of the action against Newcastle Falcons too, making six tackles and eight carries at Kingston Park.
The Tigers trio will be aiming to follow Mathew Tait, the most recent winner of the award, as well as Graham Kitchener, Julian Salvi, Jamie Gibson and Harry Thacker.
The Tigers Player of the Month award is supported by Goldsmiths, the largest prestige and luxury jewellers in the UK, who are also official East Stand sponsors and official timekeepers.
