Voting is now open to find the Lumbers Tigers Player of the Month for November.

Freddie Burns, Luke Hamilton and George Worth are on the three-man shortlist and voting is available at www.lumbers.co.uk/lumbers-player-of-the-month

They will be aiming to follow Adam Thompstone, the Lumbers Player of the Month for October.

Burns followed up an impressive return to the team at Bath with man-of-the-match performances against Newport Gwent Dragons and Harlequins. He passed 400 points for Tigers against Newport and is approaching 1,000 Premiership points after scoring five penalties, a drop goal and a conversion in a 100 per cent kicking display against Quins at the weekend. He also created the game’s only try with his chip for Owen Williams.

Hamilton scored his first try for Tigers in the win over Bath at the Rec. He was also in good form defensively making 14 tackles and one turnover in the game. The back-rower had 13 carries against Newport, the most by a Tigers player in the game, and made three turnovers, the most by any player across the round. And he also made an impact when he came on from the bench against Harlequins, winning three lineouts on Tigers ball and enjoying a 100 per cent tackle completion.

Worth made his first Tigers start in the Anglo-Welsh Cup game away to Bath. He racked up 113 metres from nine carries, more than any other player in the round, beat three defenders and made three offloads. He also completed all four tackles in defence. Worth retained his place for a first Welford Road start in the win against Newport Gwent Dragons and earned a place on the bench against Quins and his first Aviva Premiership appearance of the season.

Voting closes on Thursday, December 1 and the winner will be announced at the game against Northampton Saints at Welford Road on Saturday, December 3.
