Voting to find the next Lumbers Player of the Month is now open with Will Spencer, George Worth and Joe Ford on the three-man shortlist.

The opening awards of the campaign were won by David Denton, George Ford and Ben White, and now supporters can decide who follows in their footsteps by voting using the link below.

LUMBERS PLAYER OF THE MONTH

George Worth

Tigers academy graduate George Worth made his first league appearance of the season in Round 7 at Gloucester and was then central to the defensive effort against Saracens, winning a number of aerial challenges around his own 22 as well as looking to provide a springboard to attack.

Will Spencer

Second-rower Will Spencer came off the bench during the league trip to Gloucester to play his part in the forward battle before starting against Saracens where he was among the leading players at the breakdown and at Bristol, where he carried ball 17 times in an attempt to get Tigers on the front foot.

Joe Ford

Stepping into the pivotal role at fly-half, Joe Ford kicked eight points at Gloucester in his first Premiership start of the campaign and then added a penalty and conversion in the home game against Saracens while also getting hands on the ball to release the outside backs.

Voting is open until Thursday, December 13 and the winner will be announced at half-time in the home game against Racing 92 (Sunday, December 16).

Supported by High Street jewellers Lumbers and voted for by Tigers supporters, the award recognises the contributions of individual players to the team throughout the campaign.

Each month, fans will be asked to pick their top performer from a shortlist of three players nominated by the Tigers coaching staff. The player with the most votes on the Lumbers website will win the award, which will be presented on the Welford Road pitch during half-time of a first-team fixture.
